The Partner Channel Marketing Manager (PCMM) is a critical role within the Microsoft marketing community leads and executes strategic partner program, market planning, execution and investments aligned to FY14 priorities to drive revenue, scorecard, share and CPE (Customer Partner Experience). Especially on build partner led business muscle and penetrate SMB customer coverage.

The PCMM role orchestrates the subsidiary’s go-to-market strategy across the partner and/segment (SMB- Small Medium Business) lifecycle, and focuses on three core responsibilities:
1. Owning and accountable for Blue Ocean - Partner Led Customer Acquisition Engine from strategy planning and end to end execution, by optimize blue ocean engine to create partner led opportunity and scale up partner led business muscle in SMB space.
2. Driving demand generation and revenue-conversion execution, measured by scorecard metrics, or broad marketing KPIs in partnership with the Central Marketing Organization (CMO)
3. Driving measurement, return on investment and governance of marketing program, budget and channel incentives for results.

Key Business Partners are:
- Partner Sales Executive (PSE), eg, Distribution PSEs, VAR (Value Added Reseller) PSEs, and Telesales Partner Account Managers (TPAM); Partner Channel Development manager (PCDMs); Partner Technology Advisors (PTAs)
- Partner Skills and Development Managers
- Central Marketing Organization (CMO) & Global Marketing Operations (GMO)
- Anti-Piracy Leads, Telesales Lead, Hosting,
- Segment Marketing Teams: SMB Marketing Leads, Corporate Accounts Marketing Leads, Enterprise Marketing Leads, Public Sector Marketing Leads
- Business Group Leads and Product Marketing Managers
- Developer and Platform Evangelists and Teams (for Developer Partners)
- Partners and Partner to Partner Organizations (including IAMCP, HTG)

Partner audiences the PCMM role may work across (or specialize in) include: Managed Partners, such as Distributors, Value Added Resellers (VARs)/Top VARs, Scale Resellers, LARs, Solution/Systems Integrator Partners;

Qualifications
- 8 - 10 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.) is required, MBA or Mater's degree is preferred.
- Field of Study (if applicable): Marketing, Sales, Business Strategy & Operations, Communications.
- Professional Training and Certification: Sales & Marketing
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Candidates must have at least 8-10 years of practical experience developing and driving partner and/or customer marketing (including focus on digital) strategy and execution
- Be able to effectively drive cross-group communication and cooperation, using strong communication, project management, and organizational skills
- Possess a personal passion for marketing, customer relationship marketing, technology, partners and satisfaction
- Experience driving demand generation with third party partnerships
- Passion for driving results
- Proven ability to influence others as well as negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of SMB, Enterprise and/or Consumer marketing and selling approaches
- Ability to engage and influence at senior levels
