Responsibilities:
•Responsible for developing monthly Master Prototype / Production schedules for the plant compiled from customer forecasts.
•Perform capacity analysis, creation of master schedule production plans, and priority management for overall production schedule.
•Analyze customer demand information and forecasts to plan, organize, and prepare monthly the master production schedule, working with Operations/Materials/Warehouse/Maintenance.
•Coordinate with Partner, Materials Planners, Warehouse and Logistics in the development of more discrete schedules for Operations.
•Monitor changes in customer demand/forecast and negotiate with customers when demand exceeds our ability to deliver according to our Operating
Manufacturing Plan.
•Make any changes to the Master Production Schedule deemed necessary to achieve stated goals.
•Support AOP planning process especially in regards to forecasts, ensuring that customer requirements are balanced with business needs.
•Identify, document and maintain critical department procedures, measures, controls, and corrective actions to ensure the Master Production Schedule is consistency done.
•Interface with GIEA team (when implemented) to understand impact on materials flow and production scheduling with forthcoming implementation
•Monitor inventory levels, ensuring inventory planning is understood and carried out by all business units.
•Assist in development of process documentation.
•Provide leadership in the attainment of COS targets that involve materials functional excellence.
•Provide data and reports to assist management as needed.
Education
•Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, logistics or related fields required.
•APICS CPIM highly preferred.

Working experience
•Vast knowledge of inventory management and ERP systems such as GIEA, AS400, KBM, IMS, ASOMS etc.
•Knowledge of forecasting methodology and experience in using forecasting databases.
•The ability to write reports extracting information from databases using SQL logic (Discoverer, Query, Sequel, SQL plus etc.)
•Strong PC skills in Excel, Word, Project, Power Point and Access.
•Strong math and analytical skills, detail oriented, must enjoy the entire mathematical process involved in the Master Scheduler role, not simply inserting information into a system.
•Experience in materials planning and or production control preferred.
•Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes like, Tack Time, Pull, JIT, MRP, MPS, Kanban, etc..
•6 sigma trained preferred
•Demonstrated project management, negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and financial analysis skills are required including excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Proficient with project management tools, ie: Gantt Charts, Pareto Analysis, establishing timelines, reporting progress to plan, and executive reports.

•Outstanding communication skills, fluent in English, written and verbal
