A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Key Account Manager, looking for a challenging role. Based in Beijing, and you’ll focuse on the identification, development of end user accounts and key IDC related companies that will release the total potential of IDC sector to Xtralis in systematic approaches. It will require the development of strategic relationships, with agreements put in place to underpin the relationship with all stake holders. The overriding objective of this role is to increase Fire Product sales within China through the effective management of individual end user accounts development and cohesive relationship with key players in the IDC vertical.
Recruitment Specification:
Technical Skills & Qualifications:
· Technically competent
· Highly desirable-Formal sales training
Experience Required for Role:
· Proven success and track records in the IDC industry
· Possesses good relationships and key contacts with key IDC players such as EU, SI and consultants.
· Preferably fire industry experience.
· Demonstrated experience in strategic sales /marketing and vertical market development of high technology products to IDC/industrial markets.
·
Key Knowledge Areas:
· Consultative selling skills in a technical market.
· Excellent verbal and presentation skills – must be able to influence and educate end users, project influencers and sales staff on the key benefits of early warning detection on the full spectrum of target applications.
· Evidence of strong business acumen
· Demonstrate ability to negotiate at senior organisation level.
· Understanding of Risk Management principles and their application for Fire prevention to high technology industries.
· Ability to develop, negotiate and present strategic sales proposals.
· Ability to identify and close opportunities.
· Good computer literacy (Windows, Office).
· Excellent writing skills in developing proposals for major projects.
Personal Attributes:
· Demonstrated ability to discuss with senior staff of clients.
· Ability to build and maintain solid relationships with external business partners and/or clients.
· Makes a strong personal impact, has personal authority with clients and earns the respect of colleagues.
· Ability to communicate with highly technical design engineers, conceptual fire safety systems design consultants and pragmatic sales and business development personnel right to the top level management to influrence policy making.
· Capable of working autonomously and constantly looking for opportunties for business.
· Possess drive and enthusiasm to overcome barriers to sale.
· Relates well to peers and will fit in as a “team player”. Self-starter and pro0active.
