POSITION SUMMARY:
Works within the Life Science Direct Sales Team. The Telemarketer’s role is to manage, build and maintain a customer list for the telemarketing team, phone sales, and lead generation for the Sales Force. In addition, they will be responding to customer inquiries and performing a variety of duties related to telemarketing with domestic customers.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
-Actively promote MP Biomedicals Life Sciences products, brand and services offered by the company to the end customers as well as solve application / product problems promptly and completely
-Responsible for inbound and outbound phone sales
-Meet monthly and yearly sales targets and objectives
-Manage, build and maintain direct sales customer base for telemarketing
-Provide price quotations, product descriptions, and product availability to customers
-Cold calling and lead generation for sales force
-Receives, researches and answers customer inquiries and requests regarding accounts, products, rates and services.
-Follows up on customer inquiries and purchases to assure customer satisfaction
-Prepares routine weekly and monthly reports and assists with special projects as necessary
-Monitors, evaluates, and presents solutions to potential problem areas
-Process orders - international, domestic
-Performs other duties and projects assigned by the department supervisor

REQUIREMENTS
-University graduate with a bachelor or Master degree in medical technologies, microbiology, immunology and molecular biology life sciences areas
-2 years’ experience in the life sciences industry working in a sales and application role
-Phone sales experience
-Results driven
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Capable of reaching aggressive goals with limited guidance
-Customer focus
