A famous MNC worldwide is looking for a CFO

Job Responsibilities
Controllership
Establishes and directs financial policies and programs and provides an adequate plan for the control of operations to ensure that the Company operate with sound financial controls and Company assets and interest are properly safeguarded

Financial Accounting
？ Directs the financial accounting function of the Company by implementing reliable accounting systems to provide management with timely financial results of operations.
？ Oversees the daily operations of the Accounting Department in recording of all current transactions i.e. Sales, Cost, Expense, Assets and Liabilities.
？ Establish an adequate transaction recording system that financial analysis on cost controls and support on cost improvement opportunities to ensure effective cost management, manufacturing efficiency and resource optimisation.
？ Ensure that all records and method of the accounting system applied are comply and strictly adhere to company’s policies and procedures; accepted by US GAAP and local accounting norm and principles.

Internal Control
？ Manages the evaluation of the effectiveness of internal control systems to ensure that Company assets are properly safeguarded within the scope of accounting principles, audit standards, and government regulations.
？ Ensure that Auditor recommendations on internal control issues are followed and implemented of existing businesses and for new products

Treasury
Direct the development and implementation of treasury management policies and programs to ensure stability of the Company’s cash flow position and strength of its credit and external financing access by:
？ Establishing and administering programs to provide the funds required to finance the business operations and new projects and to maximise utilisation of excess cash.
？ Developing and implementing credit and collection policies.
？ Ensuring that adequate insurance coverage is provided to protect company assets and interest against potential liabilities or exposures at competitive premium rates.

Taxation
？ Oversees that the company is following the correct tax regulation, especially Chinese Taxes Regulation.
？ Actively monitor new tax regulation and analyse its implication to the company.
？ Direct and coordinates updating of company’s tax assessments

Others
？ Lead and motivate the finance organization to achieve optimum performance. Continually provide for hands-on training and educational programs to achieve resource development objectives.
？ Actively monitor Chinese Forex Policy and analyse its implication to the company
？ Actively participate in the deliberations of key business decisions, objectives, strategies and issues.
？ Advise the Country Management Team in the overall management of the business and executions of individual functions, as needed.
？ Continuously exploring and adapting local policy changes in order advise on legal entity structure changes or process flows that can help to maximise business potential
？ Act as interface point for finance matters with Joint Venture Partners

Job Requirements
？ University degree in Finance or Accounting. Preferably a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and with an MBA degree or various job exposures in management positions and major project assignments.
？ At least 10 years experience in Financial Management, 5 years of which must be with a multinational company.
？ Strong leadership in managing duties & objectives.
？ Excellent interpersonal & communication skills at all levels been in a senior management capacity with a fully integrated company.
？ Advanced skill in computer office application and sound knowledge of major financial & operation system (ERP and MRP).
？ Know Chinese Accounting GAAP and US GAAP.
？ Familiar with Chinese Taxes regulation and legal requirement on JVs.
？ Familiar with the Forex regulation of China.
