Key Roles & Responsibilities
? Ensure business requirements are converted into system solutions with an appropriate level of engineering excellence to provide supportability, stability, scalability and operability.
? Drive the development of automated regression and testing frameworks to assist with system testing and user acceptance testing.
? To ensure rigorous development standards are maintained for all build activities with high levels of build and release automation.
? To improve the current platform installation, driving out weak and non scalable points.
? Identifying and resolving performance issues across the application stack.
? Improve the ability to trace and debug functional and performance issues in the application stack.
? To develop core platform development skills in the team.
? To execute planned enhancements and bug fixes in line with the prioritised book of work alongside larger project bases deliveries.
? To take ownership of technical design and build components for relevant projects involving the platform.
? To take a technical leadership role in the future developments around the related technical platform.

Qualifications & Skills
? Strong hands on experience in VC++, Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft Windows Server
o Will consider someone with C# or .NET Web Applications experience
? Experienced in developing server-side components or DLLs for multithreaded applications
? Strong experience in applications architecture and solutions design
? Strong SDLC experience
? Specific experience in tuning and optimising Oracle PL/SQL processes and configuration
? Specific experience in optimizing VC++ code for performance, stability, debug and supportability ease.
? Ability to develop and mentor junior members of the team in software engineering practices
? Mastering complex environment and complex architecture
