职位描述
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provide legal support to key strategic projects for Ford in China and APA e.g. legal due diligence, negotiation, document drafting, review and translation, project management for legal team;
· Interface and coordinate with project team on meetings, reviews and document preparation;
· Draft, translate and proofread legal documents in both Chinese and English;
· Co-ordinate with government authorities for compliance with relevant foreign investment, customs and taxation laws and regulations under supervision of the Senior Legal Counsel;
· Liaise with corporate and regional legal function in handling legal matters as assigned by Senior Legal Counsel including, but without limitation, transactions with Ford JVs in China;
· Legislation research, monitoring, and analysis; and
· Support the Senior Legal Counsel in various corporate compliance and training programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Undergraduate from reputable PRC law school is a must, Master of Law preferred;
· 2 to 3 years proven legal professional experience in a reputable law firm or multinational company;
· Passage of the Judicial Exam in the PRC;
· Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese, capable of drafting legal documents in both languages;
· Experience in handling M&A or IPO projects would be a plus;
· Well-organized and be able to work on own under pressure and within tight deadlines;
· Quick learner and good analytical skills;
· Demonstrated initiative with integrity, teamwork orientation, and high intelligence level; and
· Good problem solving skills in helping clients in achieving their business objectives within applicable constraints.
Other Consideration and Complexities:
· Adaptability to changing environment and uncertainty;
· Be geographically mobile and can work anywhere in China due to business needs; and
· Good interpersonal skills and team work spirit, familiar with corporate cultural of typical multinationals.
· Familiar with general corporate culture of multinational corporations.
