Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities
• Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional team empowered to execute the Lean Six Sigma strategy for process improvement.
• Through completion of a training program on Lean Six Sigma philosophy, theory, and application tools/tactics, deliver breakthrough levels of improvement in process capability, producibility of designs and business processes to reduce defects and attain world-class levels of quality and cycle time reduction.
• Facilitate, train, and coach team members in the use of Lean Six Sigma tools.
• Work with operating leaders and teams to uncover and assess lean Six Sigma opportunities for GE and its suppliers.
• In conjunction with the Master Black Belts and Quality Leaders, serve as a change agent in institutionalizing Lean Six Sigma simplification methodology.
• Constantly seek, share, and implement best practices.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to improve process capability and eliminate defects.
• Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams to drive standarization, and simplification in a section of a wing-to-wing process. This includes providing change leadership Change Acceleration Process (CAP) methods and tools across assigned critical business initiatives.
• Serve as a recognized expert for a process focus area
• Communicate teams’ progress to Quality Leaders, Business Leaders, and Master Black Belts.
• Educate, coach, and mentor team on Lean Six Sigma philosophy and application.
• Propose process technology improvements and capital expenditures.
• Identify potential process improvement projects.

Qualifications/Requirements
1. Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
2. Proven experience in influencing, leading teams and driving change results orientation
3. Minimum of 2 years project management
4. Demonstrated strong verbal andd written communication skills with demonstrated facilitation experience
5. Strong working knowledge of English language (written and oral)
6. At least 4 additional years of experience in a busines environment
