The Job

- Responsible for the delivery of telecom services to Ericsson’s customers in the domain of Customer Support and Network Deployment

- Perform support service delivery including customer support requests handling, problem investigation, software maintenance delivery and network support in Hong Kong and Macau

- Undertake network deployment and integration activities covering implementation, expansion and upgrade of Telecom and Datacom networks

- Interact with customers and colleagues at all levels and cooperate with Global Service Delivery Centre in support service delivery and project deployment

- Participate in technical reviews and derive leads and solution based on customer’s need

- Provide 7x24 support in roster and work outside normal hours and overseas when necessary

- Drive service delivery performance in accordance with Ericsson’s Operational Excellence targets

Qualifications

The Requirement

- Degree holder in Telecommunication / Electronic Engineering / Information Technology or related discipline

- Around 3 years of hands-on experience in Telecom / Datacom industry with solid knowledge of GSM/GPRS and WCDMA/HSPA, as well as good understanding of LTE

- Possess knowledge in one of the domains below:

- Operation Support System (OSS) & Service Network

- Must be strong in Solaris, Sybase, Veritas CS/VM and SUN hardware

- Excellent in Linux, Linux Cluster and HP Blade hardware

- Good at Oracle, TCP/IP and Java

- Familiar with Firewall operation and configuration

- Experience in operating GSM/WCDMA network is an added advantage

- Knowledge of Ericsson technologies is a definite asset

- A good team player with excellent interpersonal and analytical skills

- Self initiative, independent and able to work under pressure

- Strong passion in learning new technologies and sharing with others

- Fluent in spoken & written English and Chinese. Mandarin speaking is a plus.
