Position Title: LTE Development Senior Engineer

Position Description:
This is a Senior SW development position for Performance Analysis Wireless Division. The successful candidate will be part of a small engineering team developing application software for industry leading LTE mobile test systems. This includes the integration of hardware and software. The successful candidate will implement new products as well as enhancements to existing products and have leadership responsibilities. Product areas include systems and system components used for testing wireless devices (CDMA2000/WCDMA/LTE) for compliance to several industry standards. The primary focus of the position is on the test specifications and the associated application software that controls the test equipment to manage the test procedure and test results. This position is in Beijing.

Major Responsibilities:
1. Make detailed design of test solution using well defined software practices and techniques.
2. Implement the test solution using combination of MS. Net technologies/languages, such as Visual C++ or C# .NET. Troubleshoot complex technical problems which involve software and hardware systems. May include ability to utilize laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, power meters, etc.
3. Define wireless test solution, including requirements analysis and high level design. Analyze wireless standards from 3GPP, 3GPP2 and other technical forums.
4. Execute unit test, integration test and system test of the implemented solution.
5. Create technical design documents, and source material for user documentation.
6. Facilitate supervisor to recruit and train new hires.

Qualifications Desired:
Education: BSEE/BSCE required, MSEE/MSCE highly desired
Experience:
？ R&D experience on communication systems, especially on 3G/4G wireless technologies. Have good knowledge of network architecture, signaling protocols and process, especially air interface signaling protocols.
Skills:
？ The successful candidate MUST HAVE following skills:
？ Good knowledge on object-oriented design and Windows-based application development
？ Motivated, self-starter who likes challenging work
？ Strong problem solving skills and team-oriented approach
？ Solid experience on LTE L3 protocol and upper signaling scenarios
？ Some experience on Data communication, such as TCP/IP and routing.
？ Following skills are DESIRED:
？ Hands-on experience in working within a structured software development environment that includes Requirements Analysis/Definition, Design, Defect Tracking, Configuration Management Software and Structure Testing.
？ Experience with software/hardware integration and debugging
？ Experience with design verification testing of wireless terminals
？ Experience with IMS and SIP protocol
？ Good English communication skill
