Description of position:
Strategy
– Identify new trends, customers , customer segments and applications to maximize revenue and profit in addition to existing customer base and applications.
– Develop Business development strategy in coordination with sales and aligned with established Flavor Business in order to achieve a sustainable market growth
– Articulate and monitor business development execution plans aligned with sales execution plans
– Work with other sales divisions to achieve overall flavor strategies and sales growth
Marketing
– Responsible to leverage and deliver global learning's, trend reviews and best practice to optimum local advantage,
– Design and drive new Business Development promotion initiatives with corresponding execution plans
– Develop corresponding Marketing communication material
Sales
– Identify and pursue new business opportunities as defined in the Business Development Strategy in coordination with sales : Customers, applications
– Initiate and promote new concepts to sales and customers
– Define and monitor business development projects with technical and sales
– Meet reactive and proactive needs of relevant customer base.
– Responsible for direct account development for Business Development areas if not covered by existing sales force or in support of the sales force
Technical
– active project management for new business areas.
– development of new products/applications to be incorporated in standard product portfolio when proved successful
Reporting: Managing Director
Required skills: 1. Strong technical knowledge and good understanding of food, beverage, flavors and ingredients market. 2. Strong analytical and communication skills. 3. Hard working, dynamic, honest, strong in execution of projects. 4. Good command of spoken and written English. 5. Good IT skills.
Required experience: More than 10 years of working experience in strategy ,sales, marketing, customer service or other relevant position in flavors and food ingredients industry.
Educational requirements: Bachelor degree in food science, chemical, economics and trade, marketing or related major.
