Job summary

Red Hat is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will work on a global team developing Red Hat internal enterprise tools and manage all aspects of the team's projects. This includes coordinating project plans, balancing workloads, tracking schedules, preventing and solving problems for guaranteed timely delivery, and optimizing work flows for future improvement. Primary Job Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of projects including scope, resources, work flows, and timeline planning
Cooperate with technical leaders to define roles for projects, gain stakeholder support, and create a post-project retrospective to document and suggest improvements
Coordinate with team members to provide project status updates
Ensure that risks or problems are identified and resolved
Report progress to managers and bring them in for support if necessary
Work with team leaders to determine training needs for developing team members

Required skills

Bachelor's degree or higher
3+ years of project management experience successfully handling medium to large-scale projects
Knowledge of project management theories and applications
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to systemically plan, prioritize, solve problems, control risk, and work with a team
