Main Specific Job Purpose:

Reporting to the WCM Regional Manager. The World Class Manufacturing Specialist follow several Mfg Plant and he is responsible for managing and driving the implementation of the World Class Manufacturing process together the Plant Managers in according to the Plant Route Map defined in BDG period with the WCM Regional Manager and Regional Operation Manager.

-Works in all areas of the plants to lead and facilitate continuous improvement and World Class Manufacturing initiatives, and process documentation for process control.

-Leads workshops on Model Areas in the various Plants, and conducts directly Kaizen events. Trains the Plants resources and facilitate the knowledge transfer to the Plants, in order to trigger a self-sustainable improvement process at plant level.

-Implement WCM STD’s methodology in the facilities, providing coaching.

-Involves employees at possibly all levels of the Plant’s organization and possibly from multiple disciplines to achieve the goals of continuous improvement.

-Maximize WCM similarities and synergies within the plants involving other company regions, developing action plans for effective knowledge and best practices transfer.

-Continuous improvement activities could be any of the following areas for plant performance: safety, quality, delivery and productivity.

-Areas of know how could comprehend:

1. Focused Improvement and Quality Control Tools. ( Problem Solving Technic, 5G, Pareto, ABC Analysis, Sketches, 5W+1H, 4M’s, 5Why’s, Benefits & Costs calculation, SPC, Linear Regression, Quality Maintenance, PPA, ANOVA, QFD, Taguchi, Kano Curve)

2. Workplace Organization Tools. (3M’s Analysis, Spaghetti Chart, Golden Zone Analysis, DFA)

3. Logistics. ( Internal Delivery Methods, External Delivery Methods)

4. Autonomous and Professional Maintenance. (OEE, BD, TBM and CBM)

-Drive WCM program deployment in the Plants under his responsibility, including standards set up in according WCM Head STD, development and maintenance of Skill Base and Awards Management.

-Coordinate the self-assessment pre-WCM Awards audits.

-Exploit new continuous improvement tools available in the market.

Professional & Behavioral Skills:

-Strong analytical skills, excellent quantitative skills, good communications skills and the ability to get along and work with a wide range of people, creativity in problem solving, good judgment and time management, self-motivated and disciplined.

-Degree in Engineering with emphasis in mechanical, manufacturing and/or industrial disciplines.

Languages Required:

-Chinese Mother Tongue Languages.

-Must speak and write fluent English.

Experience Required:

-Minimum of 4 years’ experience in manufacturing.

-Appropriate functional / technical expertise.

-Strong WCM background is required. (With Strong Achievements )

-Manufacturing experience is desirable.
