Main Roles / Responsibilities
Responsible for the Quality and Reliability of products coming out of the platform teams, shared with and in support of the Platform leaders.
· Lead/Execute the quality actions required in each phase of the new models Global Product Development (GPD) Process. During the GPD phases, continuously assess the quality status of the program, take actions within the platform to address issues and to define acceptable standards. Escalate unresolved issues as appropriate to facilitate resolution.
· Responsible for the deployment of Quality tools and lead the Quality and Reliability portion of the Risk Assessment checklist.
· Lead the deployment of appropriate mitigating actions for the quality and reliability of high-risk items.
· Facilitate the disciplined execution of the Q & R Priority tools (FMEA/ PFMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, Control Plans, and other statistical techniques) through the design review process. As an expert reference on these tools, s/he must understand when each of these tools are used and how they are triggered, to ensure effective application.
· Champion the resolution of issues from Design Reviews and FMEAs (Design & Process), ensuring they are resolved prior to OKTS.
· Drive adherence to the Component Classification and Significant Characteristics standard ENS0301.
· Reliability Growth Planning:
– Drive the Reliability Growth Process, specifically the development of the New Content Risk Index (NCRI) and the Proactive activities , both with design and manufacturing.
– Lead the development of the Reliability Growth Test Plan along with the Reliability Planning Specialist, Product Performance Specialist, and appropriate Core team members.
– Monitor the compliance of the Reliability Growth Testing Plan.


· Assure the Test Plan evaluates the product in all target market regions and under all operating conditions. Assess the progress of the test plan against these objectives at milestone reviews.
· Assess and assure that SQE suppliers’ actions and readiness for launch is taken into consideration at each milestone, following the GPD checklist.
· Antenna in domestic Market for assigned products , reference for export models.
· Drive current product improvement , as key member of the Current Product Management (CPM) Team serve as the primary filter for product field Quality and reliability issues. This includes properly identifying and defining the issues, validation through field information from Domestic Market.
· Drive Analysis of failed parts back from field and share with Product Behavior team the result.
Prioritize field Quality & Reliability issues and guide the CPM Team to develop action plans to drive improvement in Quality & Reliability, including warranty cost and repair frequency.
Skillset
· Product knowledge ( Trucks ,tractors , transmission , engines , etc…).
· Quality management exposure . Problem solving expertise.
· Project management skills and familiarity with project scheduling tools
· In depth knowledge of quality tools: Design Reviews, FMEA,PFMEA , Control Plans, Fault Tree Analysis, Product Validation/Verification using statistical techniques.
· Process audit , ISO / TS 16.949 certified auditor .
· Training and facilitation skills for the application of the above tools
· Good level of English.
· International travel availability , within APAC and other Fiat Industrial plants.


Education / Experience: B.S. Engineering Degree or equivalent , and at least 2 years experience into manufacturing environment.
