Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the business support analysts who will be first point of contact with the end user to resolve issues on Client Reporting System and Marketing web sites.
• Need to work closely with the technical support team in Boston, and the development team in China to reach resolution to escalated tickets / issues.
• To become subject matter experts on Client Reporting System and Marketing web sites and the associated external systems they dependent on.
• Contact the associated external systems technical team members in US and India to troubleshoot current problems.
• Investigate and manage existing issues while being aware of issues coming into the queue that requires high priority.
• Create, manage, and contribute to technical support guides and supporting troubleshooting documentation as needed.
• Estimate effort of development projects and ensure that deliverables are built to spec.
• Coordinate analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases of the software development projects, utilizing hands on approach.
• Quality code development following industry best practices and utilizing open source software that scans source code for potential problems.

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years working experience as a technical support engineer;
• Proven Java, Unix, Web and PL/SQL development experiences;
• Strong problem solving skills;
• Good command of English;
• Bachelor at a minimum;
