Job Description

1. Monthly Closing and Account Reconciliation

• Ensure that above scoped accounts are in compliance with PRC GAAP (local book) and US GAAP (US book).
• Review jounals and back up prepared by internal teams and regional finance.
• Review and ensure reconcliations (200+) are properly prepared on a monthly basis and complete adequate review.
• Track the reconciling items and make sure it will be adjusted/corrected within 60 days.
• Ensure that accounting of transactions I sin compliance with FM and company policies.
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliation reivew before and after closing.
• Submit required AR/AP; accural, inventory and other required reports to regional accounting for further SAR review.

2. Supervise Payables and Receivables

• Review manual check requests and mechanized payment vouchers to ensure alignment with policies and procedures. Determine that adequate controls are in place to ensure authorizations are proper.
• Ensure billing and accounts receivable operation are accurate and comply with policies and procedures.
• Ensure intracompany and intercompany settlement transactions comply with local tax and legal requirements.
• Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations. Ensure action plans have been identified for aging items and discrepancies must be resolved in a timely manner.
• Maintain effective controls in payables and receivables. Conduct annual control self-assessment to ensure that processes are compliant with corporate governance and S-Ox requirements.
• Monitor credit limit on a regular basis to ensure that the customer is staying within the terms of sale. Set credit limit in accordance with accepted guidelines. Review collateral status and requirement.
• Implement the new AP/AR related systems including GAPs, FVA/VFS etc. Drive global processes that meet local market requirements.

3. Supervise ACSG (parts business) and Vehicle

• Review and approve parts and vehicle related journal entries
• Identify issues during closing period and report it to ACSG and FCO Finance team for BU to compare it with budget and investigate with Finance team in case any manual adjustments required.
• Reconcile inventory in-transit with FTC and other ford affiliates
• Review FIFO adjustment and inventory reconciliations.

4. System Improvement and Implementation

• Along with ACSG business growth in China, support to lauch Panda system from accounting perspective by three phases.
• To support Lincoln business, launch systems from accounting, and map process with business.
• To improve the HR related systems, support to launch ADP from accounting perspective.
• Help region to investigate and access GAPs and support QAD exit from region.

5. Others

• Review evaluation of inventory impairment
• Co-work with OTC team to complete annual transfer pricing reports
• Co-work with GAO team to complete internal audits on multiple areas
• Co-work with Audit Firm from China and Corporate to complete annual audit reports
• Control internal risk and complete MCRP review
• Special assignment from regional; corporate and JVs’ accounting
• People manangement and development

Qualifications
Bachelor above degree with good accounting knowledge, CPA is a plus
5 to 8 years of related working experience
Familiar with accounting treatments of local GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS;
Extensive tax regulations and internal control knowledge
Independent working ability with region and global to facilitate corporate/regional projects implementation
