Working closely with Line managers in Asia Pacific IT function, the Learning and Development Manager (L&D) plays a key role in diagnosing learning needs across the organization based on organizational, team and individual priorities. This involves the development, management and evaluation of a range of appropriate and accessible learning and development interventions. This person is also responsible for managing the L&D program budget.
As the key contact for L&D activities for APA IT, the post holder is expected to build & maintain positive working relationships with all Line managers, to source and establish a cost effective and comprehensive range of training providers, courses and learning opportunities, and to actively contribute to the development of the People and creating highly effective leaders in the organization.
This post holder must establish and govern L & D solutions in such a way that APA IT Professionals in Ford Motor Company have the right resources to improve their skills within and among job families so that IT services delivery to the business is supported by quality IT resources.
Educational qualification:
B.E/ B Tech/MCA/MS
Number of Years of Experience:
3+ years in L&D, Total IT experience of 8+ years
Professional Exposure:
Should have been in a responsible position in L&D in a large enterprise
Special Knowledge or skill required:
Experience in working in a diverse geographic & cultural environment will be desirable. Must have very good hands-on experience in in MS Office suite.
Any other requirement;Need to have excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Must be willing to work across different time zones.
