JD for Intellect Property Specialist

Join Microsoft’s most dynamic LCA AP/IP team, working to protect our company’s intellectual property. As the IP specialist(supporting role), you will be responsible for:

· Support lawyers to take care of end user legalization initiative throughout the country;
Bringing support to IP/AP team under guidance from lawyers to facilitate the work on End User anti-piracy throughout the country, including conducting remain EU Metrics and reporting, support lawyers to working closely with IP colleagues, outside counsel team and various business teams to implement Microsoft EU strategies in China etc.

And we would like you to have the following Qualification and Experience:

l Education: bachelor and if graduated from law school or majored in Computer or software is preferred
l 4year+ working experience
l Fluent Mandarin and English, both in written and spoken
l Business-oriented, comfortable working as part of team, and eager to interact with diverse group of people spanning range of business teams and executives at Microsoft, as well as various vendors (law firms, forensic specialists)
l Smart, hardworking, considerate, patient and kind of flexible

Under the supervision of, and based within the LCA/Shanghai team, you will be provided with in-depth training and detailed instruction/support on how to handle end user legalization initiative related things. As such, you should be able to work independently, have excellent spoken/written English-language skills, show a high-degree of decisiveness, pay particular attention to details, be prepared to travel within China during which you must be able to work well with both internal and external clients. Just as importantly, you must be able to work well within a diversified group of professionals fighting piracy.
