Job description

· Examines test samples and reads measuring instruments data and operational instructions.

· Evaluates test performance, provides feedback regarding issues and/or problems with test and data sheets and reviews test and construction data with supervisor.

· Directs, builds and/or adapts setup and test equipment to new situations, based on data sheets and instructions from engineering department personnel. Trains other staffs the specific test methods. Be able to initiate recommendations for new equipment designs and recommends solutions to observed test problems.

· Operates designated machines that may include meters, hand tools, personal computer, and special laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, environmental chambers, performs routine maintenance of designated test equipment and laboratory area. Be able to analyze and solve equipment issue.

· Reports data to engineers and other laboratory personnel. Good communication with clients and other departments

· Records observed or calculated data on appropriate UL forms and prepares data sheets and reports, as directed.

· Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.

· Performs other duties as directed.

Requirement

· College degree or above

· Can read/write English

· Able to work under pressure

· 1~2 years optical product testing working experience, major in electronic, optical or related discipline

· Prefer photography hobby
