职位描述
Specific Role Purpose
? Design, develop, deploy and improve specific technologies and their interaction with processes and systems to deliver products and services to customer business units.
? Actively contribute in the definition of solutions and assessment of ideas, utilising experience in online technologies
? Minimise outcome risk by accurately and continually estimating and reporting on progress and potential impediments to success
? Re-use or build best-fit solutions on time and budget for Online's business partners
? Provide high level expertise across one (or more domains as applicable), in delivery and execution.
Specific Accountabilities
? Technical Lead Developer on Project work - leading Design and Software development activity (technical lead for teams of developers) to achieve project deliverables
? Deliver one or more components of a complex IT solution in line with functional and non-functional business requirements based on expertise across one (or more domains where applicable).
? Act as a Subject Matter Expert across one (or more domains where applicable), as required
? Internal Stakeholder Management - doability / recommendations based on RDD/BRD documentation - from micro-system level through to Macro - collection of systems impacts and do-ability
? Technology Assessments and Estimation
? Perform and recognise patterns in data to initiate incremental improvements and solutions to existing processes, products and systems in own area
? Provide support and maintenance for applications in the production and pre-production environments
? Fully understand the capabilities and limitations of the technical environments that come with any packaged software used by the project
? Translate customer (internal, external or regulatory) needs and requirements, using technical principles into realisable products, services, or systems and/or networks infrastructure in a timely, quality and cost effective way to ensure operational capability to deliver customer service
? Provide quality advice based on relevant technical knowledge
? Escalate unanticipated variations for approval
? Mentoring junior staff
? Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peer groups and key internal stakeholders and where applicable, manage key external stakeholders relevant to the achievement of business objectives
? Working independently (within broad guidelines) to deliver business partner requirements as per agreed schedules, costs and quality targets by:
o Interacting effectively with the business partners to refine and understand the requirements
o Implementing solutions utilizing the team's software development and lifecycle processes
? Contributing to the assurance of the underlying performance and integrity of customers' services on production systems by:
o Providing responsive support and undertaking corrective action in areas of specialisation
? Complying with change management principles and processes
? Comply with Business Principles, policies and procedures.
? Take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself and others in the workplace
? Ensure that co-workers are treated respectfully and without any form of discrimination, harassment or victimisation
? Other duties as reasonably directed

Roles at this level are regarded as seasoned professionals who will be capable of dealing with a range of difficult or very complex issues often requiring them to lead or have functional responsibility for a number of related procedures.
Desirable Qualifications:
? Bachelor of Computing Sciences / Engineering / IT
? At least 5 years of recent IT industry experience within the Enterprise Java space
Technical Skills and Experience:
? Experience with Technical leadership at least at a project level.
? Experience working with Solution Design and Architecture teams
? Experience managing customer requirements and customer expectations
? Experience scheduling and estimating technical deliverables
? Experience leading support activities in high availability, high transaction production systems
? Experience working with Agile Project Management Methodologies, such as Scrum.
? Experience working with Development Methodologies commonly associated with Agile Projects, such as Continuous Integration, TDD, Test Automation
? Demonstrated expert experience in a commercial environment using the following Frameworks and Technologies:
o Java development principles and patterns/models;
o SOA Technologies: Webservices, RMI, or REST.
o Databases: Preferably Oracle;
o ORM Technologies: Hibernate or JPA.
o Itinerant Team organisation and management;
o Requirements analysis and design; and
o Initiative tracking, reporting and management.
? Demonstrated technical experience in 50% of:
o JMS Messaging & Queues
o Enterprise Service Bus architecture
o Application & System Monitoring
o JRules or similar rules engine.
o Network load balancing, Caches, Proxies
o Solaris
o JBOSS / TomCat Application Server
o J2EE pattern appreciation - Delegate, DAO, EJB
o Security Technologies: MD5, DES, SSL, RSA, Certificate Management, Webservice Security
o BPM / BPEL
o XQuery / XPath

? Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team, to deliver customer requirements as per agreed schedules, costs and quality targets
? Current knowledge of software engineering standards, tools and best practices, particularly in a Java EE environment.
? Deep understanding of object oriented software principles and design patterns, particularly in a Java EE environment.
? Experience supporting, developing and integrating Enterprise Java Applications
? Demonstrable understanding of web application security best practices.
