Responsibilities:
Position Purpose :
The HR Account Manager (HRAM) will be accountable for a particular client population (Global Commercials) across the business in a country and will provide strategic HR leadership advice,coaching,development and support to the business,as a member of the local leadership team for the client population.
Position Accountibilities :
- Partner with the Business HR to ensure the delivery of the local HR plan and the global HR strategies at the local level.
- Build capabilities to operationalise the HR processes,and support the LoB to ensure staff consultation is appropriately handled.
- General HR support and advice to develop/integrate the HR Plan into Business Plan,and build full ownership/leadership by the local leadership team.
- Application/facilitation of Global HR processes and systems such as resourcing,performance management,development,potential ranking,talent reviews,change management,etc.
- Support to the delivery of the HR Functional Plan.
- Actively support business leaders in formulating effective action plans to correspond to the Shell People Survey results for sustained development in employee engagement.
- Provide support and advice to line leadership on HR issues such as employee/industrial relations,consequence management,career guidance and development planning,policy exceptions,diversity & inclusiveness.
- Member of the local CoB/F leadership team.
- Provide support to the CoB/F HR Community and contribute to HR Networks i.e. Talent,Organizational Effectiveness,etc.
Dimensions :
Client population of approx 180 in Global Commercial,including LSC (Hong Kong & Taiwan).
Special Challenges :
- Complex & diverse client population with multiple business stakeholders
- Excellent Communication both in Chinese & English
- With different jurisdiction system & labour ordinance requirements. The incumbent is required to master diverse local practices,statutory requirements & Shell policies.
Requirements:
- Preferably 8-10 years business HR experiences. Experience with defining and implementing strategy and driving for relevant results. Highly able to coordinate process and activities well.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to work in complex environment.
- Ability to influence and motive people from various backgrounds at all levels in the organization. Proven ability to deliver through others.
- Good facilitation and intervention skills. Courageous and able to drive change.
- Excellent communication both in Chinese & English
