职位描述

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/主要职责 ( include EHSS responsibilities)

· Providing expertise and consulting function towards WGC Business and service functions.

· Developing strategies and concepts for GC logistics

Functional leadership for all WGC Logistic operations and disciplinary responsibility for WGC Shanghai Logistic team

· Providing data for monitoring costs and stock figures for all warehouses in China.

· Providing reporting and total overview on products flow in/out to China.

· Providing leadership and training to local Logistic staff.

· Maintain knowledge of the regulations and working relationship with the authorities, closely follow up regulation changes; update China custom and export regulation changes to the Asia, Germany and relevant company global logistic teams.

· Working with Director Logistic Germany to continuously improve and stabilize the China Logistic process, identify the most effective and efficient Logistic options by road, rail, barge and ship, pro-actively mitigate risks for resilient process.

· Working with Director Logistic Germany and WGC Logistic Procurement on selection, evaluation and management of external logistic service providers, which is essential to achieve fast, competitive, transparent and reliable logistic services for external and internal customers.

· Developing and realizing transport safety programs

· Monitoring and improving the import and delivery processes, coordinating with Procurement department, suppliers and logistic partners to ensure on time receiving of materials into the contracted warehouses.

· Follow up and improvement of delivery processes for customers’ orders; coordinate with the customer service team for goods transferring and receiving, ensure on time delivery of products to the customers.

· Monitoring of logistic partners stock management and storage conditions.

· Continuous improvement, with local sales managers, customer service team and supply chain , of stock control, product flows, minimum delivery volume, delivery frequency and stock volume, product shelf-life and FIFO-principle, INCO terms, market requirements and rolling forecast.

· Assuring audit conform logistic service purchasing, goods receipt and invoice receipt processes.

· Coordinate Logistic services related customer complaint management and follow up action plan for long term improvement.

· Coordination of final approval of Logistic bills before payment.

· Performing function of GC Export control management and reporting. Training, monitoring and improving Export control relevant processes, maintaining knowledge of GC relevant regulations, assuring compliance of Logistic partners according company Export regulations and reporting – in accordance and coordination with company Global Export Control regulations and manager.



REQUIRED QUALIFICATION/必备条件(education, language, expertise, functional competencies)

· Minimum 10 years work experience in Logistic industry; working experience in multinational chemical companies or 3rd party Logistic company who mainly serves chemical companies.

· Familiar with China custom and Export control procedures and regulations.



· Experience of import, export and domestic transport operation will be a must.

· Familiar with customs operations and "customs declaration certificate" is preferred.

· Good knowledge in national HSE regulation on transportation and dangerous goods handling.

· Skill in cost analysis.

· Strong commercial awareness, ability in discussing/giving Logistic advice to business team

· Evidence of leadership and change management skills.

· Good communication skills with different levels of staff, cross-functional and in matrix organizations.

· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP will be a must.

· Good English reading and writing skills as well as oral proficiency.

· Good presentation skill.

· Self and external driven spirit, continuously learning ability.

· Working proactively with result oriented and teamwork spirit
