The primary responsibilities of this position are:

manage and lead a group of 20-30 scientists to execute projects of protein/antibody mammalian transient/stable expression and purification;
lead internal R&D efforts on developing and optimizing protein mammalian expression platform to further strengthen our capacity, capability and productivity;
provide technical expertise and leadership in experiment SOP and study plan designing, as well as final report preparation in English;
regular communication and customer care with English-speaking clients.

Basic Qualifications:

A Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry/Biology with at least 5 years of industry experience;
A biochemist/biologist with extensive experience in cell culture, mammalian expression and molecular biology;
Good oral and written communication skills, both in Chinese and English;
Good organizational skill and management experience;
Dedicated, self-motivated and initiative.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in CRO and/or biopharma settings is preferred;
Experience with protein expression and engineering is desired;
Experience with mammalian cell culturing and expression is desired;
Experience with FACS or Mass Spec is a plus.
