Senior Data Management Engineer

Job Purpose:
Develops and maintains data collection applications and reporting of engineering test, failure analysis and corporate quality information for disk drives through the use of systems based on client/server architecture. Develop tools and applications to improve resource efficiency. Must develop applications and act as a point of
interface between the team's technical contributors and its business users, translating business needs into technical tasks, including developing new reporting
systems and making changes to existing systems as driven by changes in internal test, failure analysis and assembly processes.

BS + 2 or more years database analysis experience,
Fluent English Communication skill, proficiency in Excel operation is must

Requires only general supervision and guidance.
Works on a variety of engineering problems of moderate scope yet practical solutions.
Assignments require engineering analysis and design recommendations for cost effective resolutions of problems needing engineering expertise
This job regularly and customarily applies discretion and independent decision-making in matters of importance.
Examples:
Evaluates and interprets significance of technical or scientific data. Identifies problems, generates alternatives, and recommends solutions to difficult engineering problems.

Recommends business process changes.
Experience in design, implementation and maintenance of corporate data warehouses and operational data
stores. Expertise in implementing data warehousing components including data extraction, data transformation, data loading, analytical processing, and interpretation.
Experience in Oracle required. Ability to identify risks, generate alternatives recommend/implement solutions, and provide input on technical strategy.
