Location: Zhuhai Lubricants Oil Blending Plant, Guangdong, China

Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be joining the NEA Planning Lubricants organization at a critical and exciting time in the optimization phase of it’s Journey to Excellence,enabling the Supply Chain to be a source of competitive advantage.
Ensure that the strategic supply chain aims for the products at responsible Location/Cluster are achieved,and to ensure that the Supply planning of LSC is conducted in the most effective and efficient manner to deliver these aims.

This role is crucial to managing the interface between ever changing customer requirements and the capability of supply chain to meet these needs. As such,the incumbent must be familiar with the supply chain to generate creative,enterprise first,supply options to build greater customer satisfaction.

The role holder leads the Location Supply Planning team and is accountable for the integration and effectiveness of each of its component parts (Supply Planning,Production Scheduling,3rd Party Coordination,Materials Scheduling etc). The role holder will lead the Location/Cluster planning team to optimise the integrated end-to-end performance of the supply chain. He/she manages on behalf of LSC the relationship with other LoBs/COBs and customers in the Location/Cluster.

Key Accountabilities :

Medium and Long Term planning responsibilities: for the respective Location/Cluster,the SPM will participate actively in T&R planning,he/she is key Supply Chain representative in S&OP process and where appropriate will identify and pursue OPEX and CAPEX needs.

Ownership and Management of Inventory: for the Location/Cluster,he/ she will support the Planners in continuous improvement of inventory holding across the end-to-end supply chain versus customer service,

Plant knowledge and Capacity Review: For the Location/Cluster,he/ she will identify any significant peaks and troughs in capacity utilization in the manufacturing and warehousing network and will initiate any projects or decisions to best solve the imbalances in collaboration with relevant site stakeholders (e.g. Operations Managers).

Management of Supply Issues: He/ she can manage a STEM (up to and including Class3) on a Location/Cluster or cross-Location/Cluster level and he/she is also accountable to ensure full compliance to the BCP.

Performance Review and Management: The SPM is accountable for the supply chain performance as measure by agreed KPIs in their Location/Cluster and chairs a monthly meeting with to monitor the trends of these KPIs and progress of projects within the Location/Cluster. He/she will monitor the LPC trends (with support from regional analyst) inside own area (Location/Cluster).

Requirements:

Significant Supply Chain Planning experience

Strong track record in delivering change in large/complex organization

Manufacturing and logistics operations experience

Lubs Business experience, preferably in SC

Successful experience in leading diverse and cross-functional teams

Experience with integrated SAP/ERP systems and in particular Supply Chain Planning Tools (APO, Manugistics, bespoke etc)

Demonstrated evidence of Enterprise first values and behaviours will be taken into account during the selection process.
