Boston-Power, Inc. is currently seeking for an experienced Director of Operations based in Liyang, Jiangsu. Reporting to VP of Asia Manufacturing, you will play an important part in executing and supporting Boston-Power's business strategy and development.
Responsibilities
§ To oversee manufacturing and target specific areas which need to improve operational efficiency.
§ To monitoring revenue margins and productivity, as well as implementing new directives for growth.
§ To manage the teams to ensure maximum effectiveness, efficiency and achieve quality targets
§ To direct the team to ensure that all targets and deadlines are achieved to the required quantity and quality
§ To ensure that the accuracy and quality are of a consistently high standard
§ To ensure effective and pleasant working conditions for the team
§ To analyze stats regularly and forecast any areas of potentially poor performance
§ Attend supervision, team meetings, training and other meetings as required.
§ Manage operations staff in line with company policies, procedures and ethos.
§ Maintain effective working relationships with company's external partners.
§ Work towards the achievement of company's strategy and business plans.
§ Undertake other duties as required of the post.
Qualifications
§ Bachelor's degree (or above) of engineering, business, finance or related field in addition to many years of industry work experience;
§ Five to ten years of experience in a senior-level position
§ Strong leadership, negotiation and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage others.
§ Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several projects;
§ Ability to analyze finances, communicate professionally, identify legal issues and improve productivity.
§ Excellent communication and organizational skills
§ Good team player, fit with Boston-Power's culture and management team;
§ Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
§ Fluent in Chinese, highly proficient in English;
§ Basic computer knowledge is necessary
§ Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
