Responsibilities
Management and development of engineering solution for patient monitoring systems
Provide leadership and technical expertise in the development of embedded real-time applications, microprocessor based instrumentation, component design including FPGA’s, firmware design and development, etc.
Supporting the development of patient monitoring products
Mentor and lead junior engineers in the team
Develop designs to meet all product design requirements for performance, reliability and manufacturability
Detailed design work, simulation and component selection to meet product performance, quality , and reliability specifications
Planning the hardware project on schedule, resource and risks management, manage well on design review
Overall manage and execute the hardware projects

Minimum
Position requires incumbent to lead the design, and implementation of best-in-class systems for patient monitoring and telemetry. be e part of a world class, highly energized engineering team working towards product of the future. Provide technical leadership for projects involving microprocessor, embedded platform, and digital circuit design, in the development of patient monitoring/telemetry products. Work content includes system, and component level design, proto-typing, simulation and component selection. Possess ability to identify and collaborate with external partners and manage resources to accomplish project and company goals and experience in project management.
BS or above in Engineering (Mainly on electronics, mechanical knowledge is a plus) with 8+ years industrial experience in high technology product development. Exceptional communication skills and command of English language. Demonstrated skills in Intel x86/Pentium-M based embedded platform development, and/or ARM-core based PDA, high performance computing platforms, microprocessor based instrumentation, and digital electronic design. Demonstrated skills in project management and leadership in meeting project schedules. Experience with simulation tools and methods to optimize and verify designs. Experience planning and conducting rigorous design of experiments and tests to validate designs. Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team environment while meeting individual and project commitments. Experience completing technical documentation for engineering and manufacturing.
