Summary of Position:
1.New supplier survey;
2.Non conformity parts analysis and improvement;
3.Supplier process audit and RoHS audit;
4.DMR (Supplier CAR) release, tracking and verification;
5.New parts approve in oracle;
6.Sourcing inspection;
7.Supplier performance monitoring & reporting;
8.Prevent quality issues at suppliers.

The Supplier Quality Engineer supports the quality activities related to suppliers and vendors. The SQE performs the vendor survey and audit, and they are the main contact of Plantronics Quality issues for suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

1.Conduct the general supplier/vendor survey and manufacturing audit.
2.Work with Plantronics suppliers for the Quality related issues.
3.Generate the DMR/SCAR to supplier for the defects and review the corrective actions with suppliers.
4.Review the supplier related quality issue from production defective parts and follow up with suppliers.
5.Management the suppliers Quality performance and conduct the improvement activities.
6.Support Quality inspectors on receiving inspection and handling of the rejects.
7.Support RoHS compliance of the materials.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
1.Bachelor degree in electric related.
2.5+ years related experience as a supplier quality engineer (or similar).

DESIRED COMPENTENCIES;
1.Excellent communication skills.
2.Fluent oral English.

3.Excellent team work skills.

4.Work experience with below commodities is preferred: Li battery, transducers, PCB,PCBA.

5.Accept frequent business trip in China.
