Working Location:Pan Jin 盘锦 (this is an office role, not a field role)

JOB SCOPE
Responsible for planning/designing the dedicated wells, and preparing drilling procedures,completing “post well reports”.

Key Responsibilities
1. Study the offset well information; discuss drilling procedure in planning phase with geologist, client engineering group, relative WFT divisions, service companies and other concerned parties. Propose practicable drilling program in the most cost effective manner;
2. Propose AFE report for dedicated project ahead of operation, AFE estimation should be as accurate as possible reflect to the actual operation. Monitor well cost while drill,and be able to explain AFE against actual cost;
3. Assist Drilling Operation Group to manage the equipment/service engineer logistical to ensure no rig downtime waiting on equipment or service engineer;
4. Evaluate new drilling equipment, technology, recommend to upper project
management for application;
5. Maintain effective communication with drilling supervisor, client engineering group,include but no limit to geologist, reservoir engineer, petroleum engineer during well planning and execution;
6. Responsible for dedicated drilling well files, AFE close out, post well reports, invoice support document. Maintain the drilling database up to day;

Requirements
1. B.S above of Petroleum Engineering or related engineering field
2. Working experience as drilling engineer for foreign oil companies or oversea ;
3. Fluent in English about drilling;
4. Strong team work player;
5. Good understanding of culture diversity;
6. Good communication and interpersonal skill;
7. Good understanding of petroleum engineering;
8. Good understanding of drilling and completion engineering and operation;
9. Have knowledge on how to prepare drilling plan
