Role Overview:
The Chief CNC Director demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Responsibilities:
1. Effectively integrate new concepts that can aid in the assignment of both equipment hardware and software as related to computer build technology, advanced process capability, Operatories machining and material handling concepts;
2. Communicate with Design, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Project Management on technical state of each assigned program on a periodic basis;
3. Lead special projects as directed by work requests from Engineering or Project Management
Recommend approach to meet the technical and program requirements;
4. Develop and write programs for numerically controlled machines using engineering specifications and drawings;
5. Analyze engineering drawings to define configuration of parts and determine type and sequence of machine operations;
6. Make proper machine tools, cutter fixtures selections for each part, taking into consideration such factors as speeds, types of cutters, feeds, and control system limitations;
7. Select program routines for the most efficient computer calculation of dimensional and machining requirements for each part;
8. Test and modify existing parts programs for engineering changes or manufacturing program improvements;
9. Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams and mentor others in the organization;
10. Focus on new technology in market or used in other entities and initiate the introduction and immigration;
11. Monitor the process from Tooling management, CNC programming & verification, data upload and download to machine tools.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college;
2. At least 5 additional years of experience in Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machine tools CNC / computer assisted programming experience;
3. Prior experience with high-level machine tool controls including sub-routine (macro), probing and variable based programming is preferred;
4. Strong knowledge of cutting tools, geometry and proper application;
5. Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese;
6. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;
7. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines;
8. Ability to bring assignments to a successful completion;
9. Quality control knowledge is preferred;
10. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;
11. Ability to guide and influence others;
12. Strong process orientation;
13. Lean - Sigma training is preferred.
