Key Accountabilities:
Marketing
- To support the seasonal marketing calendar and execution of marketing events and programs.
- To research on competitors activities and communications strategies to initiate plans that excite customers and reinforce Lane Crawford positioning.
- Manage budget allocation and activities to match traffic, reach sales targets and ROI.
- To continuously work with Customer Relationship Management team to better understand customer profiles and spending patterns to initiate tailor-made programs for different customer types.
- To analyze and evaluate the results for all marketing activities and to prepare reports including proposals, post mortem and CRM analysis.
- To work closely with Director to understand needs and critical initiatives of our customers and programs.
Strategic Planning
- Work with Director to develop strategic plans to build a brand and business unit calendars that increase sales targets, drive sell-thru targets and raise brand awareness through cohesive key messages.
- Develop customer conversion and retention strategies and tactics for each program.
- To explore new ideas and partnerships in order to develop innovative programs to maximize results and performance.
- To analyze and evaluate the results for the programs and suggest recommendations for improvement.
Financial Management
- To plan and develop all programs within the approved framework and within authorized budget.
- To monitor the expenses of each program and ensure all financial and account procedures are followed through on an ongoing basis and meet budget requirements.
- To recognize business opportunities and be responsive to market conditions in order to maximize business and be competitive.
Team Leadership
- To demonstrate and reinforce the Lane Crawford Vision and Values at all times.
- To identify and execute ways to increase team member’s loyalty, satisfaction and pride with the Lane Crawford experience.
- To identify and facilitate opportunities for additional training for the team.
- To monitor and review performance of team, identify individuals who are ready for promotion or require performance improvement plans and take appropriate corrective action when needed.
- To complete and present performance appraisals based on defined goals and objectives for their employees in a timely manner for mid-year and yearly reviews.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or above
- 5+ years experience in marketing field with at least 3 years at a manager level, preferred in luxury and retail industry
- Clear understanding of the current luxury market in Beijing and mainland China
- Experience in initiating, developing, and executing marketing programmes to drive sales and grow new customer database
- Strong network of potential partners to recruit new customer database and create campaign relevant programs
- Creative abilities to devise WOW programs
- Strong passion for fashion
- Good communication skills and teamwork spirit to effectively motivate, share ideas with team and external parties
- Proficient in both spoken and written English
- Strong organizational skills and in multi-tasking with good time management
