Role (Purpose of the job)
In Volvo IT region APAC East which consist of Japan, China and Korea, the HRBP role in Tianjin work closely with other HRBPs in the region to serve the common business needs and agenda.
The mission of the HR Business Partner is to advise and support management teams and individual managers on all HR related issues that drive business performance and participate in meeting business goals. This involves translating business strategy into aligned HR plans and actions and ensuring they are delivered in the business.
Key Responsibility
Provide HR support to managers which will ensure that HR operations deliver the talent and performance necessary for achieving business goals.
Ensure the effective implementation of HR policies, methodologies and guidelines within the organization.
Proactively build and promote strong employee trust and open communication between all levels through the use of Leadership the Volvo Way and Volvo’s Code of Conduct
Coordinate with key HR personnel in the Service Delivery Model (SDM) to ensure effective joint delivery of HR services to Volvo IT Tianjin.
Ensure that the organization complies with local employment laws & legislations and applicable Volvo Group policies
Work closely with the HR network and support organizations to ensure compliance and appropriate resolutions
Build relationships at all levels within the organization to effectively maximize employee involvement in driving change
Be a facilitator for change management
Main competence requirements
Excellent Communication Skills and Interpersonal Skills
Bachelor’s degree (preference: Human Resources, Business, or related field)
Minimum of 5 years HR experience or related experience
Demonstrate strategic business knowledge and strong relationships within the organization to integrate and align HR plans which achieve overall business objectives
A sense of urgency to drive results and understand the talent acquisition and enable an environment of shared responsibility
Demonstrate the ability to build a best-in-class team and exhibit strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
Good command in English
