Provide an effective Supplier Quality Control facility for the Manufacturing and Procurement Functions.
To provide an effective process in returning and monitoring purchased non conforming material.
Ensure all factory repairs are carried out to agreed timescales

To assist with the utilisation tools available (e.g. exception reports and spreadsheets) to track the progress of individual products and parts and take the necessary corrective action required to ensure the parts are returned in line with expectations
To create, expedite or amend repair purchase orders with Suppliers as necessary to ensure compliance to ERP plan.
Provide replacement material for production.
Check production stock and feed material.
Ensure that stock status is fully updated to reflect the actual situation.
To assess internal requests for material and factory labour and negotiate agreed completion dates for all material inclusive of Customer Returns.
To ensure all repairs to product are actioned in a controlled, timely and cost effective manner.
To participate in Supplier Reviews.
Scrap material that after assessment is beyond economical repair.
To be responsible for organizing the packing and dispatch of non conforming material.
Make sure the quarantine area is maintained at all times.
Participate in daily and annual stock checks as required.
Provide cover for the Warehouse team leader as required.
Carry out other warehousing duties as could be reasonably expected.

Raise repair Purchase Orders (which will need approval beyond the role’s authorization limits)
Stock adjustments up to RMB 500 per line item.
Unlimited material issue using ERP requirements.
Raising RANs (return advice note)
Raising material scrap request
Non Conformance Report (NCR) origination, corrective action and correction signature.

Key Performance Competencies.
Understand the product structures and how the products are assembled.
Use ERP to control material movements and costs.
Create and maintain Repair Purchase Orders in ERP.
Communicate with external suppliers to ensure compliance to agreed Purchase Order dates, quantities and price.
Maintain Excel spreadsheets to provide information for other departments.

Educational Background, Experience, Skills and Knowledge.
Degree in a Business or Engineering related subject desired (a mixture of education and experience would be considered).
Experience of an MRP environment desirable. Experience of Movex ERP an advantage.
Experience of working in a relevant Material/ Production or Technical function.
Experience of ISO 9000 Quality systems
Willingness to accept responsibility
Current Reach and Counterbalance License desirable
Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience of Microsoft Office Suite an advantage.
