Accountabilities:
Work closely with business unit leaders to identify L6S project opportunities that are linked to improving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as: Customer Experience, On-time delivery, Throughput, Cycle Time, Safety and EBITDA performance.
Organize, lead, facilitate and manage cross-functional teams to successfully execute projects that are linked to improving selected KPIs.
Become proficient in applying the L6S roadmaps and tools to efficiently guide teams to reduce defects and improve process efficiency that results in positive financial impact to the company.
Be an organized and efficient planner that is comfortable in managing multiple diverse priorities in a dynamic business environment.
Teach, mentor, and coach Green Belts on how to apply the appropriate L6S roadmaps and tools to a range of improvement projects.
Facilitate, present and communicate effectively to all levels in the organization/facility (division business leader to process operators).
Be an active and visible resource across the organization and earn a reputation as a person who can lead teams to improve performance and accelerate change
Education:BS Engineering or Business Administration degree or equivalent experience is desired
Software skills:Proficiency with Excel and SAP is desired
Others:possess proven team leadership skills and excellent interpersonal communication skills. He/she should have the ability to effectively influence and motivate others and be able to work effectively with all levels of people inside and outside of the organization
