Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities
- Responsible for and control the procurement and supply chain of Overseas suppliers base for assigned commodities to support GE O&G D&P Shanghai plant;
- Perform continual market analysis to initiate localization projects and monitor supplier & project progress to reduce overseas spends; Develop the alternative driving deflation programs.
- Maintain and administrate existing supply chain to ensure on-time delivery for D&P Shanghai Plant; and under requested, to support global Sourcing and plants;
- Liaison with GE O&G global sourcing team to ensure the implementation of quality policy and the compliance of GE EHS requirements on supplier site;
- Constantly evaluate, review current supplier base with existing and anticipated requirements, determine potential sources, obtain bids, and Initiate & own supplier approval process
- Maintain "timely" control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other required documents to assure orderly administration and retention of records
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly analysis reports and status of the jobs assigned
- Work on the synergy projects cross O&G China manufacturing sites, with broader leverage.
- Support assigned global or China commodity leader to execute Sourcing strategies in the region for assigned commodity. Provide coordination in procurement activities, support the Sourcing Growth in China
- Support business as needed/assigned

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in Engineering, (preferred mechanical, materials, Metallurgy); or Bachelor or above in Supply Chain or Business Administration
- 2 ~ 5 years of experience in Sourcing or supply chain related is desired; Knowledge and Experience with Drill & production product are a PLUS
- Fluent English (both spoken and written).
- Strong team player, and willing to learn and grow
- Results oriented, with the attention and following up on details
- Strong PC skills, ERP Packages, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Willing to travel, be open and constructive to identify proactive actions toward biz goals.
