Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

1. Responsible for and control the procurement and supply chain of both Direct and Indirect materials & services to support GE O&G Artificial Lift (AL) China operations

2. Achieve lowest possible cost for material, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs

3. Maintain and administrate existing supply chain to ensure on-time delivery for AL China operations; and under requested, to support global Sourcing and plants

4. Perform continual market analysis and monitor supplier progress to drive the reduction of purchasing cost to assigned commodity

5. Initiate necessary actions to address any manufacturing problems at supplier facility by coordinating with the relevant function in sourcing and engineering

6. Maintain "timely" control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other required documents to assure orderly administration and retention of records

7. Constantly evaluate, review current supplier base with existing and anticipated requirements, determine potential sources, obtain bids, and Initiate & own supplier approval process

8. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly analysis reports and status of the jobs assigned

9. As directed, assist Direct Material Sourcing activities and responsible for supplier management for assigned commodity to support GE O&G Artificial Lift (AL) global plants.

10. Support assigned commodity leader to execute Sourcing strategies in China for assigned commodity. Provide coordination in procurement activities, support the Sourcing Growth in China

11. Support business as needed/assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or above in Engineering or Business

2. Minimum 3 years of experience in Sourcing or supply chain related is required;

3. Process knowledge and experience in mfg environment;

4. Proven experience and knowledge on purchasing execution;

5. Good English in written, verbal and read

6. Experienced and familiar with Microsoft Excel

7. Willingness to travel up to 30% in required

Desired:

- Six Sigma Green Belt certified

- Audit or Quality or manufacturing experience in heavy Industry is a plus
