Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities
 Develop the strategy/Growth Playbook/S2 and drive execution of Business Intelligence in the region by working w/business IN/functional team, shared service team and ERP team.
 Drive long-term strategy/innovation of Business Intelligence technology with creativity and reality.
Reflect the latest BI market trend to Energy and apply with the business benefits.
 Partner with business IM/functional teams to understand business objectives, priorities, process changes in finance/commercial/supply chain and reporting requirements/change requests Translates them into achievable BI MGSP and regular releases and drive the execution and communication.
 Partner with business leadership to understand the business strategy. Utilize BI platform to help the business decision with key KPI.
 Identify the BI Jaros, information and Cognos tech stack gap/inconsistency across the shared businesses. Partner w/business IM/functional team, ERP team, GAMS, TSG, Shared Services to develop the instance upgrade/patching strategy and drive the execution.
 Own and operate the BI functional and technical Change Control Board (CCB) by involving business IM/functional leaders, GAMS, TSG and other support teams.
 Drive Asia BI Council to collaborate business and shared BI team for execution. Represent Asia in Power & Water BI Council to communicate Asia BI progress, take the information and best practice back and communicate/apply.
 Ensure support SLA as needed to enable sustained operations with internal and external service providers and implement controls to ensure compliance and P&A Establish and maintain operations standards, procedures and best practices for operational excellence.
 Work closely with Internal/external service providers, business finance teams, and headquarters controller team to plan, communicate, track and control the yearly support/maintenance budget. Proactively drive cost-out initiatives when meeting business essential needs.
 Partner with global Shared Services team and BI council to maximize the leverage of the business intelligence solutions. Identify business priorities and drive execution.

Qualifications/Requirements
 Proven ability to work under pressure and challenging conditions, in a multilingual/global environment across continents and time zones.
 Excellent communications, interpersonal, team building and presentation skills.
 Experience w/Business Intelligence (Cognos, JAROS etc.)implementation and operation
 Experience with Open Source BI (e.g. Pentaho) is a plus.
 Ability to works closely with functional partner and global subcontractors/vendors, end users, and other support teams to resolve operational or application issues.
 GB or better Six Sigma Certification is a plus.
 Fluent in English and Chinese communication.
