Position: Senior Linux Field Application Engineer (FAE)
Department: China Sales Office
Location: Shanghai
Job Description:
This talent will work with China Sales team to provide technical support focused on our Linux product capability to China customers.
Required Skills:
· Minimum of 6 years embedded system and software development experience, with 4+ years full time Linux BSP and driver development experience
· Familiar with Linux, especially on kernel, BSP and driver development
· Comfortable with UNIX and Windows development environments
· Experienced on embedded hardware bring up, hardware enablement debug, and different CPU architecture on chip debug tools
· Strong knowledge on C, and assembly languages (PowerPC, MIPS, X86, ARM, etc.) are necessary
· Experienced on TCP/IP, Gnu compiler
· Software development experience on at least one of the common embedded processor types (PowerPC, MIPS, X86, ARM, etc.)
· Demonstrated debugging/development experience with at least one of the following: hardware bring up, PCI, USB, IDE, SCSI, Ethernet/TSEC, UARTs, Security engine, Freescale CPM/QE etc.
· Ability to accomplish multi tasks under project and both internal and home travel are required
· Could track record of completing software development tasks on time
· Strong customer communication ability
· Good English and Chinese communication skills.
· Bachelor degree or above in computer science, electrical engineering or related majors
· A good team-worker, and be open & honest
· FAE related work experience is a plus
· Experience with multicore is a plus
