Job Function:

The Health Sciences industry division is entering an exciting time of expansion and customer focus. We are looking for a team player who will support the global Health Sciences industry team in the diverse and high visibility role that requires extensive networking and collaboration skills to build new business for a start-up environment.

This new position is responsible for building the Commercial business in a new service line that focuses on consultative services for global regulatory approvals. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of the global regulatory requirements for medical devices and specifically, FDA approvals and inspections with contacts at the executive level within the industry. The candidate will need to identify and work appropriate channels, including potential partner companies and industry associations to open doors and build credibility. The position requires extensive collaboration with existing sales staff to book orders and serve as the contact responsible for setting expectations, scoping and consulting on customer needs, identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities and fulfilling the customer’s objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

* Interact with customers at C-Suite level to instill confidence and win business

* Develop and provide ongoing sales training and collaborate with existing sales and operations teams to provide comprehensive solutions to prospective customers

* Understand UL services and effectively cross-sell to address customer needs

* Develop target lists, identify needs and execute in opening the door

* Prepare and present as the expert in front of industry audiences

* Prepare marketing material content, tools and thought leadership

* Be the primary representative with key industry associations

* Identify potential partnerships, M&A to fulfill strategic goals

* Increase profitability through negotiations and packaging services

* Collaborate with internal resources to comply with policy and deliver results

* Support global organization including participation in meetings in multiple time zones.

* Travel required to support internal and external needs

* Project management, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process

* Develop proposals to win customer business

* Other tasks and responsibilities as needed.

_Requirement:

1. Bachelor’s Degree related to work objectives

2. More than 5 years’ experience in Health Sciences related regulatory affairs – RAC or equivalent regulatory affairs certification preferred

3. Extensive knowledge of the US regulatory system for medical devices

4. Preferred knowledge of regulatory requirements in other countries

5. Proven experience in business development, sales, marketing and selling consulting services

6. Contacts at Executive level at top 500 medical device companies preferred

7. Fluent in English with advanced skills in grammar, editing, and business writing
