Responsibilities

1. Act as the functional and disziplinary leader for all test group members in accordance with Company leadership principles.

2. Plan and execute product releases for Companys seat programs in asia.

3. Plan and monitor department budget, invest and staff recources according to business plan.

4. Steers and operates all internal and external test facilities (crash tests, belt anchorage tests, etc.) for effective use.

5. Ensure good information exchange between the department staff and internal interfaces.

6. Coordinate and search external service providers (test labs) and prototype suppliers.

7. Ensure and arrange appropriate support from the central departments (local and international).

8. Include staff in planning and decision-making process. Make himself available to staff, provide regular performance feedback, develop subordiantes skills and encourage growth. Solicite and give customer feedback and act accordingly to ensure a good professional relationship.

9. Balance the workload and equipment usage with the other locally situated test and prototype departments in order to get a good overall usage of the available resources.

10. Coach and provide expertise for the test group members and ensure that the results are in line with Company and customer standards.
