Overview
The Hewlett Packard Global Executive Recruiting organization partners globally with hiring executives to recruit all executive-level roles (Director, Vice President, Senior Vice President and Executive Vice President). The team today is made up of globally dispersed executive recruiters, associate recruiters, and operations team members who support several hundred executive openings annually across the globe.


The team’s leading mission is to drive quality-of-hire, recruiting executive talent who will contribute across the enterprise now and in the future. Armed with a standardized set of HP leadership attributes that augment each executive role description, recruiters ensure common and repeatable hiring standards. The team selectively augments their direct-sourcing efforts with the help of carefully selected and trained global search/research partners.


Growing recruiting demand, growing client expectations, and the positive career rotation of existing recruiters into other HP HR roles create a unique opportunity for a new executive recruiter to join a tight-knit but globally dispersed team of bright and resilient recruiting professionals. This position may be flexible on locations within Asia Pacific, with a preference (in descending order) toward Singapore and Beijing, China.


Description
In this role you will join a team, aligned to specific business, function and region, to deliver against the executive recruiting needs supporting HP’s strategic business imperatives around cloud; security; and information management. You’ll build relationships with senior business and HR stakeholders to identify, plan and implement recruiting projects that drive quality-of-hire within pre-agreed project parameters.


Aligned with these stakeholders you will direct-source; partner-source (with associate or talent manager) or outsource (via search firm) all executive openings assigned to you, maintaining responsibility for fulfillment using these available channels. You will select and hire high-quality executive talent not just for current open roles but for the long-term benefit of the company.


And finally you’ll proactively build and nurture relationships with external stakeholders such as referrals, prospects, candidates and search firm partners.



Key Responsibilities

Planning and Partnering Proactively engage in HR and business conversations to uncover executive talent gaps, themes or needs that affect executive talent acquisition
Devise, socialize, and execute on talent acquisition strategies for business needs
Partner across HR for end-to-end client satisfaction in the recruiting process


Sourcing Proactively develop and execute candidate-generation strategies using all available recruiting tools
Build diverse candidate pipelines
Proactively identify, build relationships with and recruit passive external candidates via cold calls; conferences; networking events; or other networks


Qualifying and Pre-Screening Candidates Effectively represent and market the HP employment brand, the organization's business objectives and global career opportunities to potential candidates
Follow HP’s consistent process and best practices for selecting the highest quality candidates; use refined probing techniques to elicit information
Readily identify and address objections; assess when to pursue or withdraw
Summarize candidate's strengths and needs relative to role and to an HP career


Managing Candidates & Offers Create a stellar candidate experience: identify and anticipate candidate's needs; follow issues to closure; collaborate across the HP (relocations, immigration, compensation, etc.) to maximize candidate satisfaction; but work for HP’s best interests
Collaborate with hiring manager and business HR to create and deliver a comprehensive, compelling and balanced offer ; differentiate HP’s offer from others
Demonstrate in-depth awareness of employment laws and regulations; know when to engage legal or employee relations colleagues for support
Build long-term candidate relationships






Qualifications
Degree qualified. Minimum 10 years of related business experience, with at least 5 years of executive recruiting experience
Proven ability to: Source, select and recruit for large corporate Director- and Vice President-level roles.
Source and qualify a wide variety of skills in commercial roles, technical management roles, support roles and general management roles.
Consult, partner with, influence, and advise senior executives; manage senior executive relationships.
Lead and drive multiple projects in a highly matrixed and complex organization.
Work in a fast-paced environment.
Engage with and manage external search firms.


Preferred: Previous in-house executive recruiting experience.
In-depth knowledge of commercial IT (software, hardware and services) and outsourcing markets.
