Objective of job

• Assist the Outbound Supervisor in supervising a team of store men in the daily operation of releasing goods as well as other tasks as assigned by the warehouse manager

Qualification required

• Training
• Diploma in Logistics or Business Administration ( and/or ) related experience in warehouse operations
• Experience (type of)
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in a warehouse
• Disciplined, dynamic and possess a high degree of integrity.
• Possess good interpersonal relationship.
• Task oriented
• Specific knowledge
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
• Familiar with warehousing and distribution systems.
• Familiar with MS office excel, PowerPoint, database.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and customs clearance would be an advantage

Task designation

• 1 Management
• Ensure that all task delegated to subordinates are completed within the scheduled time frame and executed in proper and good order
• Monitor the proper utilization of space and warehouse equipment’s. Conduct periodic maintenance checks of warehouse structures and premises and report accordingly on defects and problems encountered
• Monitor the progress and shortcomings of staff performances and recommend training and skill development in order to achieve a higher level of productivity
• Assist to maintain discipline of all subordinates to adhere company policies and ensure to follow safety rules and regulations promulgated by the company as well as the warehouse administrators
• 2 Work Processes
• Monitor the daily workflow and identify the bottle neck areas and discuss with superior for possible and outright solutions
• Ensure to follow and implement the standard process of releasing goods from the warehouse
• Assist the Outbound Supervisor in daily implementation and workflow distribution in the warehouse releasing area
• Monitor the timely delivery of scheduled consignments within the day and ensure that these consignments arrives in the premises of the dealer in good condition
• Co-ordinate with the forwarder and obtain relevant documents on the released goods for filing and reporting purposes
• Ensure that all generated DN within the day are all released and prepare day end reports for goods releasing
• Participate in stock taking process
• Conduct staff orientation on New Staffs
• Be a coach to the Team Members

• Perform tasks as instructed by the warehouse manager from time to time

Daimler Northeast Asia Parts Trading and Services Co., Ltd. (DPTS), which was established in April 2008, is headquartered in Beijing and running three operative warehouses in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The headquarter is taking care of the administrational processes, including inventory management, importation, domestic trading, export, customer relationship management, procurement, transportation management, warehouse management, contract management and cost planning, as backbone to the three warehouses which do the physical distribution.

As a 100% subsidiary of Daimler Northeast Asia, DPTS aims to integrate the spare parts logistics supply for all Daimler activities in PR China under one roof, including MB PC, MB CV, MB Van, Maybach and smart. The target of DPTS is to provide MB-Standard service level with cost efficiency by synergies mainly in warehouse, transportation and administration.
