The company is a fast-growing, international chemical management solutions provider servicing Fortune 500 customers within the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, and chemical manufacturing industries.
The Asia Warehouse Sourcing Supervisor plays a key role in satisfying internal and external customers by ensuring that the right material is sent and received ever time. The role will work closely with the US region warehouse and inventory coordinator, third party warehouses throughout Asia, freight forwarders and customers brokers to facilitate and track the movement of material. The role will also manage inventory using the Oracle IT platform. Assist in developing and operating a world class global supply chain management system managing chemical and gas logistics from point of manufacture to point of use. Train third party warehouse customer service personnel on use of Oracle and ChemStar is necessary.
In order to take this job we prefer you have minimum of 5 years experience in logistics/supply chain management, Experience in operating Oracle database preferred. Proficiency in English and Chinese required. Additional language abilities in Korean and Japanese are a benefit. Must be able to successfully complete training related to transportation of hazardous materials, including courses in IMDG, DOT, and IATA. Experience dealing with hazardous material and/or import/export is a beneficial. Ability to travel internationally occasionally. Primary destinations would include Korea, Japan, Singapore, China and USA.
