职位描述

Overall Job Purpose:

The BD Manager has the responsibility to develop and expand new business opportunities; make the sales strategy and plan for assigned customers, set up new relationships with potential clients; maintain strong & long-term relations with current customers; co-work with related functions to prepare bidding documents; assist PM to solve any problems and concerns to meet customer’s satisfaction.

1. Key Accountabilities
1.1 BD Activities
? Actively develop potential new business opportunities
? Set up/develop relationships with potential clients; maintain and solidify
strong and long-term relationships with pharmaceutical companies, medical
institutes, Governmental division, etc.
? Analyze potential opportunities and make detailed business plans & sales
strategies
? Co-work with related functions to prepare bidding documents.
? Coordinates with the BD team to develop proposal and finalize strategy and
pricing.
? Share customer's strategies and sales plans with BD Director and Project
Manager.
? Meet with clinical trial customers to discuss progress of their trial.
? Provide feedback to clinical research team and co-work with them to work out
solutions for customers.
? Coordinates with Project Manager to address customer’s questions in time
? Prepare all necessary documents required from customer, for example, RFI, RFP,
etc.
? Attend industry trade shows and meetings and FDA advisory meetings with
clients.
? Prepare and manage client database and make timely updates

1.2 Vendor Selection and Management
? May work as delegated Vendor Management Representative. Responsibilities
include:
Ø Selection of appropriate vendor for use.
Ø Overseeing performance of vendors.
Ø Maintenance of the vendor inventory list.

? Good negotiation skills and persuasiveness.

2.2 Education
? Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business management/ administration or other
related fields like revenue generation, strategy management, etc from a certified college.

2.3 Language Skills
? Excellent written and oral skills in both local language and English.

2.4 Minimum Work Experience
? At least 2 years BD experience.
