Job Description

Technology Consulting professionals is an integrated team of world-class strategy, technology and delivery professionals who partner with clients to improve IT performance and drive strategic business advantage. From IT assessment through implementation, the professionals apply practical, programmatic approach, generates bold new ideas for improving profitability, reducing costs, and minimizing risk, bringing the organization to the next level of performance.



IT Strategy & Transformation professionals focus on helping top management to achieve greatest value by transforming IT from traditional cost and support nature to strategic partner of business that delivers operational excellence and competitive advantage. Accenture's professionals strive to institutionalize a shareholder mindset in our clients' IT organizations by introducing robust and effective IT organisation structure, governance, processes, architecture and by taking bold steps to optimize IT investments and transform IT capabilities and culture.


Key responsibilities may include:



· Conducting diagnostics - to assess organization's IT and operation capability and benchmark with other organizations to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies improvement and to ensure the alignment of IT strategy / capability with business strategy

· Formulating IT strategy and roadmap - to help our clients to define their IT strategy and implementation roadmap based on the overall business strategy, assessment of current IT capability and understanding of IT strategy trends in industry. Prioritize key IT investments to ensure the investments create significant value to business. Get consensus from the top management in business and IT

· Defining IT transformation initiatives and implementation plan - suggest transformation initiatives to help our client's to become "high-performance IT" which acts as strategic value partner with business. Conduct value and cost analysis and create overall implementation plan for the transformation programme

· Driving the rollout of transformational activities - to drive the rollout of transformational activities in different IT management areas, including IT organization structure, staffing and sourcing strategy, finance management, governance, process and service improvement and overall application / architecture roadmap

· Being an advisor to CIO and senior management of IT and business - to understand the business of our client and how IT can generate values to the business, be the trusted advisor to senior management of our client in IT strategy and management related areas

· Participating in business development activities - drive and manage proposal preparation activities such as response to RFP, participate in marketing events such as Accenture sponsored seminars


Qualifications


· More than 3 years experience in consulting focus in strategy, management planning or transformation of IT

· Ability to resolve unstructured problems by conducting diagnostics and defining logical framework to drive the solution

· Ability to understand cost and benefits from management perspective and conduct related financial analysis

· Deep knowledge in different areas of IT management including IT organization structure, governance, investment portfolio management, sourcing strategy, supply management, finance management, delivery management, service management, business relationship management, solution and architecture management etc

· Understand the trends of information technology and how IT can add value / enable the business of different industries

· Ability to travel abroad on overseas projects (mostly short-term base)

· University degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields
