Objective
This role involves the deployment, administration and support of Company networks and systems. The engineer is part of a team deploying prototyping solutions, deploying the Company system at ISP locations, supporting it during live operation and operating Company’s own services within China. They will be the primary entity responsible for resolving operational issues and developing solutions to help monitor and troubleshoot the systems in place.

Candidate profile
Company is undergoing rapid expansion, and needs additional senior engineers to accommodate the volume of complex diagnosis, remedy and engineering projects ongoing. This role will join the team on a fast track to absorbing significant corpus of bespoke knowledge rapidly and becoming a key part of the team within 6 months.

The suitable candidate will have broad technology understanding, possibly obtained in an ISP/MSP or any similar environment that allowed exposure to broad mix technologies grounded in years of experience in Unix/Linux administration. They will be able to demonstrate a history of rapidly grasping new and iterations on existing technologies and an ability to apply themselves to their improvement and diagnosis, working in the abstract as well as hands on. The will be the high flyer or key hire in their current team and the person who tends to get dragged into meetings outside the department because sales and business development teams recognize them as someone who gets the whole picture.
