Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Supplier assessment or evaluation.
- Consolidation and tracking of critical process data such as glass certification
- Defect pareto analysis for quality data such as incoming inspection analysis or in process defects
- Maintain customer corrective action logs and metric tracking to include interface with worldwide manufacturing plants
- Experimental tracking and reporting through process steps

- Champion process driven methodologies and tool utilization to achieve results via DMAIC, DESGN, Project management, Project Initiation sheets, Problem solving methodology, etc
- Define templates, documents, procedures etc to ensure effective transfer of knowledge to multiple manufacturing units
- Provide weekly and/or monthly status reports as required
- Regular interface with Commercial Applications Engineering team


Education & Experience
- BS Engineering (mechanical, chemical, or ceramic preferred)
- 2-5 years of manufacturing and or project leadership experience

- Problem solving via effective use of analytical tools
- Data analysis packaged for presentations with recommendations
- Ability to multi task and work within a diverse group
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to focus and summarize data sets and present recommendations
- Ability to manage multiple activities
- Excellent understanding of verbal and written English

Desired Skills
- Intermediate knowledge of computer applications programs (Power Point, Excel, etc.)
- Understanding of statistics – Green Belt
- Understanding of Lean tools, terminology and applications
- Project Leadership

Soft Skills
- Ability to work among a worldwide diverse group which require support outside of traditional work hours
- Flexible but understanding in the face of changing priorities
- Excellent group facilitation skills
- Customer focused
