Position: Senior Business Development Manager _ Shanghai

DESCRIPTION

HASSELL is a leading multi-disciplinary design firm with offices throughout Australia Asia & UK. We are currently seeking professionals for our established Shanghai WFOE and rapidly developing China offices. HASSELL offers an exciting and challenging professional career within a collaborative work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business Marketing or related field, or a design professional with experience in marketing for landscape & urban design firms, and excellent writing, and communication skills, with an emphasis on business development and negotiation. Candidates should also have impeccable client-presentation and communication skills including oral and PPT presentations, be highly organized and a strong team player.

REQUIREMENTS

Primary responsibilities include:

-Establish leadership to China BD team in 5 offices, co-ordinating with head office team in Australia.

-Create business opportunities by developing marketing plans, generating and managing leads and building client/industry relationships.

-Develop and implement strategies, actions required to achieve revenue/profit objectives in each design discipline.

-Prepare consultant proposals, capability statements and fee submissions.

-Develop strategic relationships with targeted prospective clients.

-Market Research and analysis of potential growth opportunities in specific business sectors.

-Self-motivated with strong presentation skills and ability to interact with various levels within an organization.

-Contract negotiation skill with China contract knowledge and experience.

-5 – 10 years professional experience
