Position: Senior Business Development Manager _ Beijing

DESCRIPTION

HASSELL is a leading multi-disciplinary design firm with offices throughout Australia and Asia. We are currently seeking professionals for our established Shanghai WFOE and rapidly developing China offices. HASSELL offers an exciting and challenging professional career within a collaborative work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business Marketing or related field, or a design professional with experience in marketing for architectural firms, and excellent writing, and communication skills, with an emphasis on business development and negotiation. Candidates should also have impeccable client-presentation and communication skills including oral and PPT presentations, be highly organized and a strong team player.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

_Bachelor degree or above

_8-12 years of business development experience (in design company is preferred) , over 3 years management experience.

REQUIREMENTS

Primary responsibilities include:

_Establish leadership to China BD team in 5 offices, co-ordinating with head office team in Australia.

_Create business opportunities by developing marketing plans, generating and managing leads and building client/industry relationships.

_Develop and implement strategies, actions required to achieve revenue/profit objectives in each design discipline.

_Prepare consultant proposals, capability statements and fee submissions.

_Develop strategic relationships with targeted prospective clients.

_Market Research and analysis of potential growth opportunities in specific business sectors.

_Self-motivated with strong presentation skills and ability to interact with various levels within an organization.

_Strong negotiation skill with China contract knowledge and experience.

- Fluent in written and spoken English
