TITLE: Product Manager
REPORTING TO: Sr. Product Manager
LOCATION: Beijing
I. Purpose of Position
Develop and implement marketing strategy on assigned products’ positioning, market penetration and pricing; establish Marketing planning process. . Responsible for manage the product life cycle, develop product strategy and roadmap, own the product pricing, develop the product go-to-market plan, design sales tools, provide product support to sale and technical team. Also responsible for promote Veeder Root brands, products and solution in targeted markets.
II. Key Responsibilities
Conduct VOC. Reach out to both internal & external customers and understand the requirement; study and analyze the competitive matrix; complete the SWOT analysis to develop the product roadmap for both ATG & STP product lines.
Develop, manage and implement the strategies and plans for assigned products and service to meet business targets.
Initiate New Product Develop programs. Co-operate with local and global functional teams to drive the APD project implementation. Own the product commercialization process, including product marketing documentation, sales tools, product training, product launch programs and etc.
Develop pricing strategy and process for assigned products.
Responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing plans to meet or exceed market share, market penetration and product profitability targets for assigned products.
Collect, compile, verify, and analyses data on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for the product/service.
Collect, compile, verify, and analyses data on product performance and customer feedback to identify product/service features that need to be changed to meet customer needs
Support Sales team to implement sales and channel strategy to meet growth targets for assigned products.
Support Marcom team in implementation of effective value selling collateral for assigned products.
Be responsible for continuous improvement of assigned products knowledge and value proposition within VR China
